3rd Year Students
Narrative Post-Assessment
There will be no open meeting lessons for 1st and 2nd year students on Thursday due to the 3rd grade writing assessment. 3rd grade students will need to stay on the morning meeting Zoom at 8:45 and complete the narrative post-writing assessment on Google Classroom Writing Scrimmage.
Can't Connect to a Zoom Meeting? Device Running Slow?Clear the browser cache/cookies on a regular basis (or anytime you have connection issues) to keep your device running smoothly: Instructions for Clearing Cache/Cookies from Chrome Browser- Important: On step 3, change the time range to "All Time" instead of the "Last Hour" which is the default setting if you are clearing the cache for the first time.
Restarting the Device: Sometimes a device needs a restart if it isn't working as it should. To do this properly, close all apps/windows/tabs and press the "Refresh" button (Circular Arrow--Top Row, fourth button from the left) and the "Power" button at the same time. The device will turn off and automatically restart.
Shut down the device properly: We have noticed that many students just close the screen of their device to shut it down. Please get them in the habit of closing all apps/windows/tabs and holding the "Power" button down until they can select "Power Off."
Your child is expected to complete lessons and practice on i-Ready 3 times a week! Students will be assessed on the skills they are practicing on i-Ready, so it is important that they are well acquainted with the program.
All students are expected to read with Amira 3 times a week!

For family members who have any questions or concerns, we offer office hours from 1-1:30. Please join our Zoom using the morning meeting link. That link never changes, so if you or your child ever need to meet with us, the morning meeting link should be used.
