Weekly Newsletter
As we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, we want to share some important updates about our Lower Elementary teaching team. Three of our lower elementary teachers will be retiring at the end of this school year, which has created the need to thoughtfully fill several positions within our community.
While we have truly loved working together to guide and support our students, some of our current classroom teachers will be moving into new roles within the school next year.
At the same time, we are excited to share the following updates:
Ms. Natalie Munro will continue her work in rooms 27/29 and will be partnering with Ms. Sarah Daly, who has been a teacher in Room 30 this year. Ms. Natalie has served as a mentor to Ms. Sarah, and they have worked closely throughout the year, building a strong and collaborative relationship.
Ms. Rachel Poli will be joining us from another school in the district. She is also a current Ellis parent, and we are thrilled to welcome her to our team.
Both Ms. Sarah Daly and Ms. Rachel Poli will begin their Montessori certification this summer as they continue to grow in their practice.
The teachers serving the Blue Jays and Cardinals community next year will be:
Ms. Natalie Munro
Ms. Sarah Daly
Ms. Rachel Poli
Ms. Natalie Leschisin (teaching assistant)
Ms. Roya will be moving to Upper Elementary with our current third year students.
Ms. Marianne will be moving into the role of RTI Coordinator and EIP teacher for Lower Elementary.
Ms. Jazmin will become the lead teacher in Room 30.
Although our roles may be shifting, please know that we will continue to work closely together to support all students and families within the Blue Jays and Cardinals community. Our shared commitment to your children and to our Montessori program remains strong, and we are excited about the opportunities ahead. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership!
