AMIRA End-of-the-Year Assessments
Cohort C students will complete Amira assessments on Monday, May 10. After morning meeting, please have your student remain on Zoom to complete the assessment. Cohorts A & B will complete these assessments in the building.
GMAS Testing Schedule
Some 3rd year students in Cohort A will be taking ELA and Math GMAS Make-Ups this week. If your child was absent on days when GMAS was previously scheduled, they will complete testing on Monday and Tuesday. See the schedule located below. Here are some tips for students testing this week.
Get a good night's sleep (Avoid using tech devices before going to bed).
Pack everything you may need ahead of time (earbuds, mouse, pencil, scratch paper, snacks, etc.).
Eat a healthy, filling breakfast (school breakfast is still FREE for all students).
Stay calm (utilize deep breathing techniques).
Be positive and do your best!

Technology Information
Cohort A and B students will leave their devices at school on May 17th and May 19th, respectively. Cohort C, please use this link to schedule an appointment to return your student device (and/or media center books!) to school between May 24-26th.
If your student has saved any pictures/files on the device that you would like to keep, move those to their student Google Drive. Click here for a quick video tutorial.
Make sure the device is fully charged when it is returned so that we can ensure that the device is in working order.
If there is damage to the device, please contact Ms. Lisa now so that we can arrange payment for the repair, if applicable.
Ms. Jazmin continues to assess Cohort A and B (if they have not completed math and reading yet) while they are in the building.
On another note, we still do not have 100% participation of students practicing both subject areas on i-Ready. Our data goal for the final 9 weeks of school is 100% participation in weekly i-Ready practice.
Bridging Ceremony
We can't possibly have another year without a special send off for our third year students! We were not able to have an in-person send off last year for our third years, so we have decided to have a picnic at Daffin Park to celebrate both classes! We would like to invite all 19/20 and 20/21 3rd Year Students to celebrate with us. We've had some students leave our school because of pandemic circumstances, but we would still love to see you again! Please view the attached invitation. Bring a lunch and a blanket, and whatever else you think you may want at your picnic! We'll provide some special treats!
