Spirit Night-Jason's Deli
Please join us at Jason's Deli on Tuesday night between 5-10 pm. Mention Ellis when ordering and they will donate 15% of proceeds to Ellis PTA!

January Birthday Celebration
We will be celebrating children with January birthdays this Thursday! Please send in 25 healthy snacks with your child, for them to share with their friends, if their birthday is in January.

PTA Meeting
Please plan to join us Thursday night at 6:30 for our PTA general membership meeting. Sylvan will be hosting a Robotics Night for students during the meeting!

Parent-Child Dance
Be on the lookout for a signup going out if you'd like to volunteer for or donate to the PTA dance on February 9, which will be at Savannah Arts Academy this year! Tickets for the dance are on sale in the Media Center now!

We Want Your Sneakers
Do you have unwanted, wearable sneakers or cleats that you no longer wear? Coach Lesley is hosting a sneaker drive to raise money for recess equipment. We'll earn up to $1 per pair of sneakers and we will help people in the world who don't own a single pair of shoes! Just send in any sneakers or cleats (in good condition) that you no longer wear. Thank you!

Math and Language Homework
If your child did not turn in homework Friday morning, please remind them to turn it in on Monday. We will collect homework for this week this Friday morning.

Third Grade Homework
If your third grader has access to a computer, they should be encouraged to type up their writing responses. Also, please challenge your child to go back and revise their writing by adding examples from the passages and details from real life experiences. Remind them that those details are what makes their writing interesting and relatable!

Winter Conferences
Thanks to all who have come in for conferences. This week, we will continue to meet with families and are excited to show you Transparent Classroom and get you logged into your own account.

Girls on the Run
If your daughter will be participating in GOTR, you should have been asked to join our class on Remind.com. This is how we will be getting information to parents for the remainder of the season. GOTR begins on February 5 and girls are asked to meet in room 27 at dismissal. We are scheduled to meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-4:30, barring any unforseen cicumstances that may arise.

We Got Pied!

Thank you for raising funds for our school by particpating in the Boosterthon! We truly appreciate all of your support!
