Weekly Newsletter
The Week of September 23rd

3rd Grade Math Fact Practice
Please encourage your child to practice the 2 and 3 times tables. Students are being assessed weekly. Each child will will progress at his or her own pace, but all of them will be assessed on the 2 and 3 multiplication facts this week, because none of them successfully answered the correct amount in the allotted time last week. Students made flash cards and are supposed to be practicing daily in the classroom. Please ask your student about the math facts they are practicing weekly and encourage them to practice at home.

Khan Mappers
We have seen a rise in the number of children using this resource and we are so happy that students are practicing their math skills at home! We hope to see this trend continue! Remember, if your child is struggling with a concept, there are videos provided which can be used as a guide.

Field Trip Forms
Field trip permission slips for our rescheduled field trip went home last week. Please send them back to school with both the front and back signed. Thank you!

Classroom Observations
We are excited that classroom observations begin tomorrow! It is encouraged that all parents come in to observe our environment twice a year. Observations give parents a better understanding of what exactly is happening in the Montessori environment. If you have not yet done so, please use the link below to schedule a classroom observation.
