The Week of January 28th

 Weekly Newsletter

Valentines Day is Wednesday, February 14. We will have a valentine exchange on that day. If possible, please have your child bring a valentine for each classmate. We have 50 students and the roster is pictured below. Children will decorate bags to hold their valentines in the classroom. We have enough bags for the community. If you have valentine craft supplies to donate, please send them in ASAP.

We sent emails last week with a link to our signup for midyear conferences. We are offering both Zoom and in-person conferences. If you haven't yet, please use the link provided in your email to schedule a conference and indicate if you prefer Zoom or in-person.

Wishlist
If you can, please consider donating the following items to our community.

Are you interested in volunteering in the Blue Jays and Cardinal community? We would love to start having family members come in and help students with reading and math skills.  All volunteers need to go through the VISTA approval program to be able to come in and spend time with students.  This program is much easier to navigate than it was in the past.  Please let us know if you have time and would like to volunteer with small groups or individual children.  Teachers will prepare any necessary materials.
