Our guinea pigs, Brown Sugar and Nibbles, are in need of a place to stay over Spring Break, 3/31-4/10. If your family would like to care for these sweet little ladies, please send a message via email or Remind. Thanks!

Science Night-This Thursday

All of our experiments will not be done before this Thursday, so please be on the lookout for more information about a classroom science fair which will be held after Spring Break. Also, please join us at Ellis this Thursday for PTA Science Night!

Field Day is May 5th!

Field day t-shirts can now be ordered through School Cash Online. These t-shirts can be worn throughout the school year on Fridays (Ellis spirit days).

If you have not yet registered or added your student to your account on School Cash Online, click here for instructions on how to do so.

Coach Lesley will also accept cash or check (made payable to Ellis Montessori Academy), but you MUST include student name, t-shirt size, and their teacher's name (see prices in the chart below).

What: Boosterthon Fun Run!

When:Tuesday, March 14th at 9:30am

Where: Charles Ellis Back Playground

Students should wear shorts and athletic shoes to school. They will receive their Boosterthon t-shirts THAT day. 

Students should bring water bottles to school.

The Boosterthon team will NOT be marking laps on the shirts as they have in prior years. All students will be counted as running the full 35 laps.

Students will be taking end of year iReady assessments this week and next. We will administer the reading iReady assessment this Wednesday, March 8 and the math next Wednesday, March 15. 

Dear Blue Jay Families,

We have an exciting fundraiser in store for students to help bring much-needed funds to our school!

Our Fundraiser at a Glance:

1. Kickoff Event-March 6! Students will learn what to expect from the fun days ahead and how the fundraiser will work.

2. Character-Building Videos. Our school will follow along with a character-building program called Grand Land Adventure. Students will learn about five different U.S. National Parks while building character and raising funds to hit our fundraising goal.

Throughout the week, our class will earn fun rewards based on how much we raise on our classroom donation tracker. When our class earns a reward that adds some extra awesomeness to our day, I will be sure to let you know!

3. Event Day- March 14! This is the epic grand finale - Bobcat Fun Run!

Our school has a fundraising goal of $19000 and we are raising funds for fine arts program support and resources
